1 week of study and work experience experience at Sedbergh Vietnam Kindergarten helps Wolf House students gain more knowledge about the teaching profession.

Practising work from the high school level is one of the unique activities of the study program at Sedbergh Vietnam. Following the success of the career internship program in previous years, grade 12 students had the opportunity to explore the career fields they were interested in at Sedbergh Vietnam Kindergarten.

Sedbergh Vietnam Kindergarten belongs to Sedbergh Vietnam – the first and only international education system in Ho Chi Minh City that inherits the quintessence of education from the school with a long teaching history of 500 years in the UK, Sedbergh School.

Sedbergh Vietnam – CVK educates and develops comprehensive skills for children from 18 months to 6 years old with a combination of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) program and Ontario Character Education (Character Education) and talent development programs (Talent Programs). 7 days as an intern is a valuable opportunity for young people of Sedbergh Vietnam to discover a bit about the daily pace of the profession of teaching young children. At the same time, they also understand more about the feelings and difficulties of those in the teaching profession.

“Leading the way” for future seeds, teachers representing Sedbergh Vietnam – BCIS also visited and interacted at the Kindergarten. During the internship, students are introduced to and guided enthusiastically about this career field. At the same time, 12th-grade students also receive answers and encouragement from the School.

The 7-day experiences contribute to finding answers about the children’s interests and suitability for a specific field. From there, members of the Wolf House have more specific directions for the final stage before entering University.
