Program overview

Comprehensive integrated program

Sedbergh Vietnam – BCIS’s educational programme is a combination of the best of Vietnamese education (Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training curriculum) and the best of British education through the Cambridge International Programme. The school’s educational goal is to build a solid foundation of culture, skills and knowledge for students, helping them become successful future leaders with outstanding character and expertise.

Our students have the option to select between two distinct academic pathways, either the bilingual or monolingual, depending on their abilities and career aspirations.

Graduates of the bilingual pathway will receive a Vietnamese High School Diploma from the Ministry of Education and Training, combined with an internationally recognised vocational qualification (ACCA or Pearson BTEC) and an academic English certificate (IELTS/SAT).
On the other hand, students who complete the monolingual pathway will receive Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge AS & A Level qualifications from the United Kingdom, with flexible learning pathways (Standard / Fast Track / AICE Diploma).

Our diverse Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) program is systematically structured to support students’ holistic development across 4 key areas:

Wellbeing — Mental Health: The SEE Learning programme (developed by Emory University — one of the world’s leading research universities in the United States) is integrated throughout school life, supporting students across 3 tiers: whole-school, small-group, and individual 1:1 intervention.
Sport — Physical Development: A wide range of physical activities help students build fitness, teamwork and resilience.
Arts & Music — Creative Arts: A nurturing creative environment allows students to explore and develop their aesthetic appreciation and creative thinking.
Drama — Performing Arts: Drama activities help students build confidence, communication skills and effective collaboration.
Over 50 clubs across various domains such as Academics, Soft-skills, Arts and Music, Sports, and Community Engagement
