WHO ARE WE?

Our predecessor was Bilingual Canadian International School (BCIS), established in 2012. More than 10 years of dedication to Vietnamese education with the most quintessential and humane things is the pride of every teacher here. The cooperation with Sedbergh School and becoming Sedbergh Vietnam – BCIS is an important milestone on the journey of cultivating education and bringing the best of the nearly 500-year-old education system.

Our superior curriculum

At Sedbergh Vietnam – BCIS, we inherit the Cambridge standard curriculum while still maintaining a bilingual curriculum to best meet the needs and desires of parents and students. Our curriculum is a combination of the Ministry of Education and Training of Vietnam and the essence of the Cambridge program from Sedbergh British. Students graduating from the international program at Sedbergh Vietnam – BCIS will receive an output certificate meeting Cambridge standards and many opportunities to study abroad at top universities around the world.

Cognia Accreditation

Sedbergh Vietnam – BCIS (under CIS system) achieved comprehensive education quality accreditation certification from the three largest regional accrediting agencies in the United States – NCA CASI, NWAC, SACS CASI under Cognia Accreditation organization.

Film screenwriter and talented director

Simon Beaufoy

He received an Academy Award for the screenplay of The Full Monty (1997). He went on to win an Academy Award in 2009 for Best Adapted Screenplay for the film Slumdog Millionaire, as well as winning a Golden Globe and BAFTA award that same year.

Former 685th Mayor of London (2012-2013)

Sir Michael Roger Gifford

He was educated at Sedbergh School before going up to Trinity College, Oxford, graduating with an MA degree in Chemistry. Gifford was the UK head of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken (SEB) from 2000 and was also a Patron of the financial and enterprise education charity “MyBnk”.

Baron of Cornhill

Thomas Bingham

Thomas Bingham was educated at Sedbergh. He was a British Judge who served as Master of the Rolls, Lord Chief Justice and Senior Law Lord. He was recognised as the greatest judge and lawyer of his generation and was a generous supporter of the school.
