Sedberghians tell fashion stories through personal identity

Fashion isn’t just about outer appearances, it’s about understanding who we are, choosing what fits, and expressing ourselves with subtle authenticity.

In Technology class, Sedberghians took on the role of young stylists with the theme “Fashion and Personal Identity”. With enthusiasm and confidence, they explored fashion through interactive activities like online surveys, celebrity style analysis, and real-world outfit scenarios. Each task challenged them to think critically, observe thoughtfully, and make styling decisions that reflect both context and character – building not only their design sense but also their self-awareness.

As part of a district-wide open class observation, the session welcomed Technology teachers from across District 7. It became more than just a showcase, it was a meaningful opportunity for professional exchange and a reminder of the power of student-centered learning, sparked by topics that are both relevant and full of creative possibilities.
