THE BOOK WEEK 2025 – Igniting the passion for reading culture

Making Friends with Books – A special visit from reading culture ambassador, Author Phuong Huyen
To kick off Book Week at Wolves House, our young readers in Primary had the unique opportunity to meet Author Phuong Huyen — a passionate advocate for building a strong reading culture within the community.

A highlight of the session was a live reading of ‘The Angels of the Forest Guardian’, brought to life by the author herself. This heartfelt story weaves a powerful message about our connection to nature and the importance of protecting the environment we live in.

But the experience didn’t end with just listening. The session became an engaging space where students interacted directly with the author, shared their thoughts, and learned to read with curiosity, listen with intention, and observe the world around them with empathy and care.
The Book Fair – A beloved space for creative minds and book enthusiasts
Thanks to the Phuong Nam Bookstore, over 100 books were beautifully displayed in the main lobby, offering everything from children’s stories and self-help guides to science books and foreign literature. Sedberghians from all grades eagerly explored the selection, flipping through pages and discovering new favorites.

More than just a chance to find a great read, the Book Fair was filled with hands-on activities like bookmark-making workshops and student-designed exhibits. It became the perfect space for students to not only learn and be inspired but also to share their passion for books with each other.
