“VIETNAM IN MY EYES” – MATERIAL COLLAGE ARTWORKS BY PRIMARY STUDENTS AT SEDBERGH VIETNAM

Art lessons at Sedbergh Vietnam Primary became more vibrant than ever with an engaging activity: creating a map of Vietnam using familiar materials such as beans and seeds.

From Hanoi and Hue to Ho Chi Minh City, each province and city was given a unique look through the creative lens of young Sedberghians. When placed together, these pieces formed a vivid and distinctive picture of the nation. The activity not only allowed Primary students to apply interdisciplinary knowledge of Geography and Art while building teamwork skills, but also awakened their aesthetic sensibilities from the earliest years of learning. It also served as a bridge, nurturing in them a love for the S-shaped land through meaningful educational experiences.
