HONOURS TALK 04 | TO WHAT EXTENT DO ACADEMIC RESULTS DEFINE PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, AND HOW DOES SELF-UNDERSTANDING CONTRIBUTE TO LONG-TERM GROWTH?

In collaboration with IvyPrep, Honours Talk 04 provided students with a structured learning environment to reflect on a fundamental question: To what extent do academic results define personal development, and how does self-understanding contribute to long-term growth?

Through guided self-assessment activities, students evaluated multiple dimensions of their development, including academic capability, communication skills, self-management, and social awareness. The use of a personal competency chart enabled students to systematically identify strengths as well as areas requiring further development.

Building on this self-awareness, students formulated short-term goals, identified initial action steps, and completed reflective writing tasks. While Honours Talk 04 has concluded, the process of critical self-reflection and intentional future planning continues beyond the session.
