A LOOK BACK AT PD WEEK 2026-2027: LEARNING TOGETHER, READY FOR THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR

Every training session during PD Week was designed to bring meaningful change into the classroom.

Through SEE Learning, teachers explored ways to nurture students’ social, emotional and ethical competencies across every learning experience. A series of workshops focusing on different aspects of mental health also equipped teachers with practical approaches to provide appropriate support and proactively de-escalate stressful situations.

Teachers also participated in a series of training sessions on Google for Education and AI. The focus was on using technology purposefully and aligning it with learning objectives. Alongside this, departments aligned their teaching plans and procedures for using CPOMS and the student management system. This supports consistent documentation, monitoring and coordination across the school.

The learning from PD Week is now gradually taking shape in the classroom, creating a consistent and understanding environment where every student is supported throughout their development.
