KICKING OFF THE NEW SCHOOL YEAR WITH THE GRADE 9 RING THE GOLDEN BELL CHALLENGE

To welcome Grade 9 students on the bilingual STARS Pathway back to school, Grade 9 teachers organised the Ring the Golden Bell Challenge as a lively start-of-year activity, helping students reconnect with friends, warm up their thinking and get ready for the learning journey ahead.

Across three rounds including Warm-up, Conquer and Final, 28 teams took on a series of questions in both languages. Each answer board raised brought another moment of suspense, surprise and enthusiastic cheering from classmates.

More than a knowledge challenge, Ring the Golden Bell gave Grade 9 students the opportunity to create some of their first memorable moments of the 2026 – 2027 school year, build confidence in applying their knowledge and take on new challenges together.
