THE APPLICATION OF DRONE TECHNOLOGY IN FLOOD RELIEF SUPPORT

In the face of growing challenges caused by climate change across Southeast Asia, Year 10 students at Sedbergh Vietnam applied their Physics knowledge through a month-long project titled “The Application of Drone Technology in Flood Relief Support.”

Following an introductory workshop previously organised by the school in collaboration with a university lecturer, the project presentation on 6 April featured a range of meaningful activities. Student groups presented the operating principles of drones, explored how this technology could support disaster response efforts, and carried out practical simulation scenarios connected to real-life situations.
