OVER 44 MILLION VND RAISED THROUGH A STUDENT-LED INITIATIVE AT SEDBERGH VIETNAM

As the 2025–2026 academic year comes to a close, the student-founded and student-led Scar of Life Club has successfully raised over VND 44 million in support of the Scar of Life programme under Vietnam Children’s Fund Social Enterprise. The funds will help contribute towards surgical costs for underprivileged children living with congenital heart defects.

A highlight of the fundraising journey was the charity raffle, an initiative conceived and organised entirely by students. With the support of parents, teachers, staff, and sponsors, the campaign exceeded its original fundraising target.

Co-founded by two Year 11 students and now comprising 21 dedicated members, the Scar of Life Club reflects the leadership, compassion, and sense of social responsibility that define Sedberghians. Through initiatives such as this, students not only develop practical skills and real-world experience but also create meaningful and lasting impact within the wider community.
