THE NEUROPSYCHOLOGY & CONTEMPLATIVE SCIENCE CONFERENCE SERIES | EMPOWERING SEDBERGHIANS TO UNDERSTAND HOW THEY LEARN

What really happens in the brain when we learn something new, overcome challenges, or gradually gain a deeper understanding of ourselves?

Last weekend, the neuropsychology & contemplative science conference series under the theme Knowledge of brain vs insight of self, co-hosted by the CIS and Sedbergh Vietnam International school system, and WISEDUCATION, brought together more than 300 participants for an engaging exploration of neuroscience, psychology, and education.

Through thought-provoking presentations by Dr. Lê Nguyên Phương and Dr. Quang Thục Hảo, parents and students explored key insights into human development, learning, and self-awareness, including:

  • Every stage of development presents unique “windows of opportunity,” requiring age-appropriate approaches to learning and education.
  • A child’s potential is not fixed. The brain retains the capacity to learn, adapt, and grow when nurtured in the right environment.
  • A safe and connected learning environment provides the foundation for holistic growth and lifelong learning.

More than a knowledge-sharing session, the seminar fostered meaningful dialogue on nurturing human potential through the perspectives of researchers, educators, and parents.

Our sincere thanks to Dr. Lê Nguyên Phương, Dr. Quang Thục Hảo, and more than 300 participants for making the afternoon an inspiring and intellectually enriching experience.
