BUILDING A SAFER DIGITAL LEARNING ENVIRONMENT FOR STUDENTS WITH GOOGLE FOR EDUCATION

As part of Professional Development Week, Sedbergh Vietnam welcomed Mr Victor Lam, Strategic Projects Lead for Google for Education in Southeast Asia, for a discussion on the development of the school’s digital learning environment.

As his work typically involves strategic engagements aimed at advancing digital transformation in education, Mr Lâm’s visit presented a valuable opportunity for Sedbergh Vietnam to translate system-level technology strategies into practical solutions for teaching and learning.

The discussion took place as Sedbergh Vietnam continues to invest comprehensively in its educational technology ecosystem by implementing Chrome OS as well as strengthening digital safety, training teachers in Google tools and AI, and integrating Digital Literacy and AI into the curriculum.

Through these developments, students gain more than access to modern tools. They progressively learn to protect their data, verify information, and use technology proactively, ethically and responsibly.
