A GREEN SCHOOL BEGINS WITH A GENERATION READY TO TAKE ACTION

At Sedbergh Vietnam, building a Green School is one of our long-term development priorities. It extends beyond creating a learning environment connected with nature. It is also about nurturing a generation that is informed, responsible and prepared to address the challenges facing their communities and the wider world.

Advancing this commitment, Sedbergh Vietnam partnered with the Green Future Foundation to organise the “Green Future & the Power of Youth” talk for Secondary students. During the session, Dr Le Thai Ha, Executive Director of the VinFuture Foundation and the Green Future Foundation, shared valuable perspectives on environmental challenges in Vietnam and around the world. More importantly, the session encouraged students to recognise that a green future is not a distant aspiration; it is shaped by the actions we take today.

The “Tiếng nói Xanh” competition was also introduced as an opportunity for students to turn their environmental awareness into action through public speaking, debate and the development of innovative solutions. A green future is not simply something young people will inherit. It is also a future they can help shape, starting today.
