LABORATORY DAY – EXPLORING A WORLD BEYOND THE NAKED EYE

For Laboratory Day, our Grade 6 students on the STAR Pathway joined Mr. Gil in the Integrated Science lab for an exciting, hands-on microscope activity.

Students learnt how to position specimens, adjust the light, focus the microscope and observe structures invisible to the naked eye. Each step required concentration, accuracy and the patience to make careful adjustments until a clear image appeared.

This experience reflects how Integrated Science is taught at Sedbergh Vietnam. Built on the Cambridge curriculum while meeting the requirements of Vietnam’s National General Education Curriculum, the programme provides increased opportunities for practical work and experimentation. Students not only acquire scientific knowledge but also observe, ask questions and seek answers through real-world investigation.
