Sedbergh Vietnam – BCIS achieves International Accreditation by Council of International Schools (CoIS)

According to the official announcement from CIS (The Council of International Schools), Sedbergh Vietnam (part of the CISS) has been recognized as one of the best international educational environments in the world, having successfully attained the “CIS Accredited School” status.

Passing the assessment framework consisting of 8 domains with 45 criteria, Sedbergh Vietnam qualifies to teach and award certificates for Cambridge programs, including the International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) and the Advanced Level (A-Level) qualifications.

This recognition underscores the Sedbergh Vietnam community’s commitment to continuously improving the quality of education and providing the best educational experience. Students have additional assurance of teaching quality with the recognition of training and certification for Cambridge programs at the school. This accreditation opens doors to numerous opportunities for the school to further its development and move closer to its goal of global outreach.

The Council of International Schools (CIS) is a leading global organization for the recognition of international education, with a list of stringent criteria and standards for evaluation. CIS international accreditation is validated and accepted as a worldwide assurance of quality.

Moreover, in 2023, Sedbergh Vietnam also made a significant mark by successfully achieving accreditation by Cognia (NCA CASI, NWAC, SACS CASI).

Sedbergh Vietnam inherits the original Cambridge curriculum from Sedbergh School in Britain and continues to maintain a bilingual program with diverse learning pathways such as MOET, IPC, IMYC, IGCSE, and A-Level.

Once again, congratulations on this meaningful milestone and the outstanding effort of the school in successfully achieving the highest accolade of “dual accreditation,” a remarkable feat on a global scale.
